What is the
Baltimore Free Market?
BFM is a program of Parts of Peace and exists to further our organization's mission to empower families in Baltimore by partnering with them to meet their basic needs and beyond. Modeling principles from the gift economy, BFM distributes high quality donations from popular retailers to those that need them in Baltimore. This program exists primarily to support community members with meeting their basic needs while also encouraging a sustainable approach to consumerism and environmentalism.

The BFM online marketplace is comprised of everyday goods. Some items are common, while others are more peculiar, however all of these items can make a difference for a family that needs them. The BFM Catalog includes items like clothing, appliances, cookware, bedding, shoes, baby items, shoes, bag, house goods, beauty items, electronics, appliances, pet supplies and more.
