Baltimore Free Market
Partner

Our Baltimore Free Market partners have unlimited access to our entire inventory. Through our partnerships with various retailers, we are able to secure 100s of household goods like furniture, bedding, cookware, appliances, exercise equipment, electronics, vacuums, home decor, and much much more. 

These items are made available to nonprofit agencies in Maryland that serve individual clients in need. Agencies may request items for their organization to increase capacity or request items designated for special programs or specific clients. 

There are no limitations on the number of items a partner can request, however larger requests may take longer to fulfill. After a request is received, items are pulled in our warehouse and made available for pick-up within 3-5 business days or sooner.  

So far we have distributed over 2500 items to individuals and partner agencies combined and have been able to help furnish houses for clients, improve health outcomes with exercise equipment and health aids, increase access to work from home jobs by distributing home office equipment and laptops, provide safe sleep with baby bassinets and playards and much much more. 

Eligibility 

  • Must be a nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored or a community organization* (*evaluated on a case-by-case basis)

  • Must service clients in need in Maryland, with special preference to organizations that provide services to clients in Baltimore city. 

  • Must commit to not selling or returning items to retailers and additionally inform clients that they are not permitted to sell or return items as well. 

  • Must not require clients to make a payment or donation to receive items. 

  • Must commit to submit quarterly reports that detail our collaborative impact and outcomes for your clients 

  • Must have the capacity to pick-up all items requested in a timely manner or arrange delivery of items to your site. 

  • Must adhere to other guidelines as outlined in the Partner Manual. 

Membership Fees 

501c3 and fiscally sponsored Organizations:
Membership req
uires $25 monthly subscription fee, billed automatically. No contract is required. Agencies may cancel at any time. 

Not for Profit Organizations: 

Membership requires a $29 monthly subscription fee, billed automatically,  as well a processing fee of $4 per order (no minimum order).  No contract is required. Agencies may cancel at any time.
