ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
Donate Food or Hygiene Items
If you have purchased or plan to purchase items to be placed in a food or hygiene PoP Pantry, please adhere to the following:
Food items should be unopened and unexpired, no exceptions. The best types of food for PoP Pantries are boxes of cereal, oatmeal, rice, dry pasta, tomato sauce, canned pasta, canned meats, canned veggies, canned / packaged fruit, granola bars, pop-tarts and other food items that can provide more than one serving. This allows food items to have longer lasting impacts in each household.
Hygiene items should be unopened and unexpired (where applicable), no exceptions. People seeking items from a hygiene PoP Pantry likely use the same or similar hygiene items that you use. Feel free to purchase your favorite body wash, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, pads (individually wrapped), tampons (individually wrapped) or other items for the pantry.
For a full list of items that can be purchased for a pantry, take a look here.
The following items will not be accepted for food or hygiene PoP Pantries:
- Frozen foods
- Perishable foods
- School Supplies
- Used / opened items
